We welcome to the program Jared Moore, author ofThe Harry Potter Bible Study: Enjoying God Through the Final Four Harry Potter Movies. Jared Moore has served in ministry for 11 years and is currently the pastor of New Salem Baptist Church in Hustonville, KY. He has an M.A.R. in Biblical Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, an M.Div. in Christian Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently completing a Th.M. in Systematic Theology atSouthern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jared is Pastor of Middletown Springs Community Church in Middletown Springs, VT, and has websites atgospeldrivenchurch.com and jaredcwilson.com. Jared is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English. Jared is also the author of Your Jesus is Too Safe: Outgrowing a Drive-Thru, Feel-Good Savior and Abide: Practicing Kingdom Rhythms in a Consumer Culture.

This week, we welcome back to the program Dr. Leland Ryken, author of The ESV and the English Bible Legacy. Dr. Ryken is a professor of English at Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL, and has served as a member of the faculty there for 40 years. He has also served as literary stylist for The Holy Bible, English Standard Version. Dr. Ryken is also the author of several books, including “Realms of Gold: The Classics in Christian Perspective”, “Translating Truth: The Case for Essentially Literal Bible Translation”, “The Word of God in English: Criteria for Excellence in Bible Translation”, “Wordly Saints – The Puritans as They Really Were”. Dr. Ryken also edited the “ESV Literary Study Bible”. Dr. Ryken received his PhD from the University of Oregon.

We welcome to the program Dr. Andreas Kostenberger, author of Excellence: The Character of God and the Pursuit of Scholarly Virtue, a book that discusses excellence in life and scholarly pursuits. Dr. Kostenberger is the founder of Biblical Foundations and the author, editor, and translator of over 20 books. He also serves as professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Kostenberger holds doctorates awarded by Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and the Vienna University of Economics. His publications include the commentary on John in the Baker Exegetical Commentary Series, and God, Marriage, and Family. With Peter O’Brien, he wrote Salvation to the Ends of the Earth, and The Book Study Concordance with Raymond Bouchoc

This week, we welcome Dr. Kevin Vanhoozer to the program. We will discuss his book Remythologizing Theology: Divine Action, Passion, and Authorship. Dr. Vanhoozer is Blanchard Professor of Theology atWheaton College. He received his B.A. from Westmont College, California, his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. from Cambridge University. Dr. Vanhoozer is also author or editor of sixteen books, including The Drama of Doctrine: A Canonical-Linguistic Approach to Christian Theology, named best theology book of 2006 by Christianity Today.
